FC Platinum have lodged an official complaint to the Premier Soccer League after Mutare City allegedly used a suspended player Kudakwashe Gurure for their match at Mandava on Saturday.
The match finished 1-1. Gurure was supposed to sit out for the match after the Premier Soccer League included his name last week among the four suspended players for Week 19 of the ZPSL.
FC Platinum media officer Chido Chizondo confirmed the complaint. “We have lodged a complaint to the Premier Soccer league and we wait to hear from them Chizondo told Soccer24.
Mutare City could face a fine and possibly have points deducted if found guilty.The league debutants have improved in the second half of the season and are currently in 14th position with 17 points.
