Dynamos president Kenny Mubaiwa says Lloyd Mutasa’s job is safe for now despite the poor run of form the club is experiencing.
Dynamos have failed to win in the last six matches with the latest setback being a 1-1 draw with Bulawayo City on Sunday.
The result saw Dynamos drop out of the top 4 and into sixth spot. The results have mounted pressure on head coach Lloyd Mutasa with some fans doubting his ability to lead such a big club. Mutasa has also had to deal with indiscipline from senior players leading to a number being suspended at the weekend.
Speaking to the Herald Mubaiwa said, “At the moment, we can’t afford to change things because a new coach will want to rebuild and demand five games, or so, to work with the team before he can be judged and that is 15 crucial points.
Mubaiwa said the club felt there was still time to turn things around and there were still in the race for the title so there was no need to panic just yet.
Dynamos are 11 points from log leaders FC Platinum after 19 games.
