Maritzburg United have are not selling Zimbabwean international Evans Rusike according to club chairman Farouk Kadodia.

The former Hwange striker was a key figure in helping Maritzburg stay up last season scoring nine goals and has since attracted the attention of ABSA Premiership giants Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns. He was also named Maritzburg United player of the season.

However Kadodia is keen to hang on their prized possession. “Rusike is not for sale and I have made it very clear to you and everybody else Kadodia is quoted saying by KickOff.com.

“Tell everybody Rusike is going nowhere. Chiefs have made a hundred offers and l have received two hundred offers, and Rusike is not for sale and it is simple as that he added.

Maritzburg United recently signed another Zimbabwean in Blessing Moyo from Harare City.
