Devon Chafa is in line to make his CAPS United debut this weekend according to head coach Lloyd Chitembwe.
CAPS United have both Ronald Pfumbidzai and Kudzanayi Nyamupfukudza out due to suspension for Sunday’s game against Hwange opening up an opportunity of Chafa.
Other players that will miss the match are Leonard Tsipa (injury) and Abbas Amidu who will attending trials in Germany.
“The absence of Pfumbidzai and Nyamupfukudza due to suspensions will of course affect the team, but we also agree that it is a chance for other players to lay their claim said Chitembwe at the weekly press conference this afternoon.
“Devon Chafa comes into the side for his debut on Sunday he added.
The match has been moved from the National Sport Stadium to Rufaro Stadium after fans asked for a switch to the venue which is considered more accessible and cheaper for fans.
CAPS United will be out to maintain their good start to the season. The Green Machine are two points behind log leaders Highlanders while Highlanders find themselves just above the relegation zone with 14 points from 11 games.
