Katsande had the best chance for Kaizer Chiefs in the game but Chippa United keeper Daniel Akpeyi produced a stunning save to stop Katsande’s towering header from goal.
Chiefs needed a win to secure 3rd spot but the defeat means they finish at a disappointing 5th position considering that they were once title challengers for eventually Champions Mamelodi Sundowns.
