CAPS United moved to the top of the Castle Lager Premiership with a 1-0 win over Border Strikers. CAPS United were a bit wasteful in the first half but veteran striker Leonard Tsipa came from the bench to score from a free kick early in the second half to hand the home side the maximum points.

The result means Paulo Silva has only managed 4 points after being given an ultimatum of getting nine points in three games. Dynamos had Rodreck Mutuma missing after an apparent injury and started with Nasama and Nyakasaka upfront.

At Gibbo Stadium Triangle and ZPC Kariba played out an entertaining 2-2 draw. Triangle took the lead early through Simba Makoni 3rd minute goal but Limited Chikafa equalised.

Lincolin Zvasiya then gave ZPC Kariba the lead but Triangle were on level terms minutes later after converting a penalty after Thomas Sweswe had handled.
