In the Castle Lager Premiership today there were wins for Bulawayo City and Ngezi Platinum while FC Platinum and Harare City played out a goalless draw.
FC Platinum dropped their first points of the season when they were held to a goalless draw by Harare City at Mandava Stadium this afternoon.
FC Platinum survived a number of anxious moments with Harare City threatening a number of times and hitting the wood work in the second half.
However the draw see’s FC Platinum fail to win for a 5th successive time but Norman Mapeza was satisfied with a point in a tough game.
FC Platinum remain at the top with 13 points but could be over taken if CAPS United win against Border Strikers tomorrow.
At Luveve Stadium defending champions Chicken Inn slumped to their second defeat of the season when they were beaten 1-0 by a determined Bulawayo City. Eddy Nkulungo’s goal in the 7th minute of the game won it for City . Chicken Inn missed head coach Joey Antipas who is away for the weekend with his new side Amazulu.
At White City Stadium two second half goals by Tichaona Mabvura and Innocent Sokose gave Ngezi Platinum maximum points against Tsholotsho. It was Ngezi’s second win of the season.
