Zimbabwe national team skipper Willard Katsande was on target as Kaizer Chiefs finally ended their five match winless streak.
Katsande scored the winner as Chiefs beat University of Pretoria 2-1. Vuyisile Ntombayitheth put University of Pretoria ahead but Reneilwe Letsholonyane equalised in the 72nd minute.Katsande then headed in for 85 minutes to hand his side all three points.
It was Katsande’s 6th goal of the season .
Kaizer Chiefs are now in 3rd spot on the ABSA Premiership but out of the title race with four games to play. Mamelodi Sundowns have four point lead at the top over second placed Bidvest Wits. Sundowns were held to goalless draw with Ajax Cape Town last night.
