Dynamos legend and former coach Moses Chunga has spoken ahead of the Harare derby tipping Caps United beat their Harare rivals Dynamos.
Despite Dynamos bossing their opponents in the previous matches, Chunga believes history will not have a bearing on the matches this year as Caps United look more organised than their opponents.
Dynamos had a terrible start to the season losing 3 nil to defending Champions Chicken Inn in the first league encounter and went on to be eliminated in the Independence trophy by the same team. Dynamos also lost the 3rd/4th place play off against FC Platinum.
Moreover the entire Dynamos technical team are sitting on a 3 match ultimatum of which they negotiated their way past the first hurdle recording their first win with a 2-1 win over new boys Mutare City.
Speaking to the Herald, Chunga says Caps United have been the much organised team and will likely beat his beloved team Dynamos.
“History doesn’t always stay with us forever. If you make it a habit to bank on past experiences and fail to plan properly, one day those records will not work in your favour.
“If you look at it from the outside, CAPS United are more organised compared to my beloved team and it would appear like their players are also up there in terms of confidence.
“So I am of the opinion that if CAPS United fail to beat Dynamos this year, they will never beat them any time soon because it looks like this is the best opportunity for them to do so.
“Of course, it’s Dynamos’ culture to grind results, but if you look at it again you would find that even in those last six years that CAPS United have failed to beat them, they had the upper hand in some of the matches,” said Chunga.
