Border Strikers head coach Saul Chaminuka has slammed officiating in the country and says we are going nowhere if that does not improve.
A livid Chaminuka was reacting to Triangle’s 1-0 win over Border Strikers on Sunday.
“I think the referee gave Triangle the game .This is why you find out that when there is tournaments we don’t have a referee (from Zimbabwe) on CAF, on CHAN all these tournaments we don’t have because of this kind of refereeing.
“He has given them the goal on a silver platter. When are coaches going to learn to win a game of football, when ?
“When is it going to happen when people referee the game like this and what is the coach going to tell his players about his game today (against Triangle) I wonder.
“This is pure, pure robbery. When we talk like this we are sanctioned you are the people that are covering these matches you need to be teaching people about the game.
Chaminuka also claimed Chicken Inn won the title with help from referee’s
“This is when you find out that even Chicken Inn last year they didn’t win the league because they were winning games ,it was the same thing this nonsense that we seeing now that referees give points that don’t deserve to win games .
“As long as it remains like this we are not going anywhere ,players must learn to win games on the pitch.
This is not competing when referees are giving games like this concluded Chaminuka. Border Strikers are second from the bottom with three defeats in their first three matches.
