ZIFA president Philip Chiyangwa says all football players should get housing stands and good welfare during his reign.
Chiyangwa made the remarks when he visited Premier League debutants Bulawayo City. Chiyangwa used his trip to Bulawayo to also visit Highlanders and the ZIFA Southern Region offices.
“It’s very important for me to familiarise myself with teams in the PSL so that I can find ways we can improve their welfare as well as other things we are planning he said.
“We have given our girls stands, so I want to do that for each and every team ,each and every player currently playing.
“Those are the ones that will benefit when I am in office ,when I come out I don’t know where you will get if from he joked.
“But while I am them I am going to pay the Bulawayo City and Harare City mayor and these councillors to talk about stands for players.
“Each and every player in Zimbabwe must have a stand because the life of player is very short. I also want insurance policies for you guys whether it’s a funeral or health policy he added.
Chiyangwa highlighted how good player welfare would contribute to clubs success.
