Highlanders went down 2-1 at the hands of FC Platinum in a Premier Soccer League match played at Barbourfields Stadium this aftèrnoon
Skillfull Walter Musona drew first blood for the visitors in the 24th minute.Musona tapped the ball in from a rebound after Tatenda Dzumbunu’s ferocious strike had canooned from the upright post.
The goal came against the run of play as Bosso fans had watched their side dominate play.
Knox Mutizwa, young Prince Dune, evergreen Bruce Kangwa and King Nadolo had took turns to miss the target before FC Platinum’s goal.
After the breather, Bosso’s Tendai Ndlovu was left cursing his football luck when his was dispossessed of the ball by hard running Obrey Chirwa inside the box.
Chirwa then charged to the goal and his curling shot beta Ariel Sibanda who was in goals for Bosso in the 51st minute.
Thereafter the platinum miners did not take the foot off the pedal with former Triangle midfielder Hilllary Bakacheza proving to be too hot to contain for Bosso’s back four.
However, it was no long when Highlanders found a face saver in the 66th minute courtesy of Rahman Kutsanzira strike.
Kutsanzira was well setup by Mutizwa to beat platinum goal minder Petros Mhari from close range.
Despite their frantic efforts to find a second goal Bosso watched in disbelief when they continuously failed to convert and 2-1 it ended in favour of the visitors.
