Chicken Inn head coach Joey Antipas expressed his delight after Chicken Inn beat Dynamos 3-0 in their season opener at Barbourfields Stadium on Saturday.

A brace by Tarumbwa and a Tafadzwa Kutinyu goal gave Antipas a winning start to their title defence.

“It was definitely a grand start said Antipas.” We worked as usual to win the game. We didn’t afford them space as this is Dynamos .I felt we gave more space in first half but we restricted them in the second half. It was a good victory for us.

Speaking on the value Tarumbwa is to the team he said, “Oba is quality,he gives us guile in attack and we knew he would be a plus for us in 2016.

Dynamos head coach Paulo Jorge Silva felt his charges found it difficult playing with ten men after Kawondera’s sending off.

“I am happy with my team he said after the game. Playing with 10 players was difficult. Chicken Inn deserved the win especially in the second half.

“But the attitude of my boys was super ,they were fighting .We made some mistakes, some avoidable and we need to work on those he added.
