Warriors head coach Callisto Pasuwa has hinted on changes to his squad that will face Swaziland in a AFCON qualifier this afternoon.
Zimbabwe drew 1-1 in Swaziland in a game that saw the Warriors struggling in some key positions.
South African based defender Eric Chipeta struggled at times in defence and was guilty for leaving his man unmarked for Swaziland’s opener. The team also struggled with creativity in the midfield with the defensive minded duo of Willard Katsande and Danny Phiri unable to send clean balls to a four man attack.
Speaking at yesterday’s training session Pasuwa said, “We need to be good defensively and offensively. There are things we need to rectify (from first game).
Sundowns pair Khama Billiat and Cuthbert Malajila also struggled with fatigue a possible issue after travelling from the Congo last week for a CAF Champions League assignment.
Pasuwa is likely to draft in CAPS United defender Hardlife Zvirekwi, while Vitesse midfielder Marvelous Nakamba is expected to come into the key creative midfield position.
Khama Billiat and Malajila are unlikely to start with Pasuwa saying they will monitor both players condition. Kuda Mahachi ,Evans Rusike and Nyasha Mushekwi are possible choices for the technical team.
A win for Zimbabwe will put them on 8 points and in the driving seat to qualify for AFCON 2017 to be hosted by Gabon.
The match kick’s off at 15:00hrs
