Warriors head coach Callisto Pasuwa has promised an improved performances after drawing with Swaziland Mbabane on Friday.
Zimbabwe went a goal down early but came back into the match after Swaziland scored an own goal just before the halftime break. The Warriors display was concerning with a number of players struggling while the team lacked cohesion.
But Pasuwa whose team plays Swaziland again on Monday wants an improved showing.
“We had come to get a win here said Pasuwa after the match.However Swaziland were unyielding but we promise we will take the game the them in Harare he added.
Meanwhile Zimbabwe have already left Swaziland and will fly out from Johannesburg in the afternoon to Harare. The Warriors only have today and tomorrow to get ready for Monday’s game at the National Sports Stadium.
With Guinea and Malawi drawing in Conakry the group remains quite open and a win for Zimbabwe could enhance their chances of qualification.
