Dynamos head coach Paulo Jorge Silva could be on his way out of the Zimbabwean football giants with a meeting today set to decide his fate.
Silva has made the headlines for all the wrong reasons since taking over the coaching reigns at Dembare.
Silva has had numerous clashes with the players, his own technical staff of Lloyd Mutasa and Gift Muzadzi while even board chairman Marriot has not been spared.
He also attacked a ZBC news crew member much to the disappointment of club president Kenny Mubaiwa.
The clashes have created tension in the Dynamos camp with reports suggesting players and the technical team are not happy with working with Silva.
His coaching qualifications have also been questioned ,with suggestions that he may have been dishonest about his coaching experience.
Now Kenny Mubaiwa is keen to put an end to the situation that may see the removal of the Portuguese national.
In an interview with Newsday Mubaiwa did not mince his words, “We can’t continue like this and fold our arms as if nothing is happening. It is the brand that is being soiled and it has to stop now,” said Mubaiwa.
“We will review the last few months because we have had numerous problems in the team. Anyone who will be implicated will certainly go; we will fire the person on the spot added Mubaiwa.
With Silva’s future uncertain assistant head coach Lloyd Mutasa is linked to taking over the hot set with the season only weeks away now.
