Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Pitso Mosimane believes weary legs contributed to their 1-0 loss to Chicken Inn in their CAF Champions League 1st leg tie played at Barbourfields Stadium.
Mosimane also explained why onform Zimbabwean international Khama Billiat was left out of the line up.
Speaking after the game Mosimane said, “We didn’t have the legs for the this match, we lacked energy we didn’t really have that. We needed to up it up a little bit.
“The difficult thing is we have few injuries, and I decided my important players must come out like Khama, Dolly because we have a long way to go, so it’s okay.
“We went down to a very good goal and we respect that.
“The game we played on Wednesday (against Pirates) took away our energy.
On Khama Billiat: Mosimane said, “Khama could have played, but I felt it’s better to keep Khama ,if he played and we don’t win and we have played him for 20 minutes and comes out ,we don’t have him for the next three games including the return game, it’s not worth it.
“We will try and control the game at home (in the return leg) added Mosimane.
