Khama Billiat says he will try hard to keep his emotions on check when he comes face to face with his home based team Chicken Inn in CAF Champions League Cup.
Sundowns face Zimbabwean League Champions Chicken Inn in a CAF Champions League preliminary round, first leg tie at Barbourfields Stadium.
Billiat who has been in a form of a life together with teammates Colombian Leornado Catro and Keegan Dolly have combined to create a fearsome combination now popularly known as “CBD”. Together they have scored over 20 goals in the last 8 Premier soccer League matches.
Billiat told the Kick Off that he will try not to make his Zimbabwean connection not get on his game in order to play well.
“It is my home country team and I am trying to put my mind into working with myself very well because I don’t want to be emotional,” says Billiat.
“I don’t want to feel pressure and end up do more than I should to show people back home more. I want to be professional and play for the team like I always do.
“I want to give the team the performance I always give because in that way I know I will help the team. So we will just stick to our game-plan because we know that if we play our own game we always stand a chance.”
