Mamelodi Sundowns forward Khama Billiat has reportedly attracted the attention of two French clubs.
Billiat has been one of the best players in the ABSA Premiership this season and scored his eighth goal of the season on Wednesday.
He has been a key figure for Sundowns ,who are now nine points clear at the top of the ABSA Premiership.
His performances have not gone unnoticed with a South African based publication Soccer Laduma saying Lille OSC and AS Monaco FC are tracking the Zimbabwean international. Lille have showed some interest in the past but their desire seems to be stronger now.
A source is quoted by Soccer Laduma saying, “Now there are actually two teams interested and it will all depend on which one really wants to sign him.
The news is likely to be welcomed by local fans with some suggesting his talent deserves a bigger stage and his time in the ABSA Premiership is up.
Benjani Mwaruwari and Ovidy Karuru are two Zimbabweans that have featured in the French league in the past.
