CAPS United were beaten in their first competitive pre-season game this afternoon when they went down 2-0 to Zambian side Kabwe Warriors at the National Sport Stadium
CAPS United showcased some of their new signings in the starting line-up such as Devon Chafa, Edmore Sibanda and Dennis Dauda while Justice Majabvi also featured.
However Kabwe scored in each half to register their first win on their Zimbabwean tour. The newly promoted side were beaten 2-0 by Dynamos at the weekend.
The game saw Archford Gutu surprisingly included in the squad as a substitute and later coming on. Gutu had been expected to join Dynamos but was snapped up by the Green Machine.
Dominic Chungwa wasted good chances to score in the first half while Sibanda was kept busy making key saves despite conceding the two goals.
Gutu and Abbas Amidu both gave a good account of themselves when they came on despite the loss.
