Zimbabwean international Willard Katsande has outlined the importance of a win for Kaizer Chiefs when they take on Mamelodi Sundowns this weekend.
The ABSA Premiership resumes this weekend with a blockbuster match between Chiefs and Sundowns .Sundowns lead the log standings with 26 points, five more than 4th placed Chiefs.
Speaking to the club’s official website Katsande said “We have to win this one. “It’s time to climb up the ladder. To get back to where we belong we have to win games.”
Despite the recent Christmas break Katsande believes the team will be ready and focused for the game.
“The break didn’t affect us that much added Katsande. “We are professionals and we knew what to do to stay tuned during the break. And, don’t forget we closed 2015 with a morale boosting 2-1 win over Bidvest Wits. So we just have to continue from where we left it.”
The match takes place on Saturday and kick’s off at 20:15 at FNB Stadium
