Winger Ronald Pfumbidzai has traced his roots back to Caps United, club President Farai Jere has confirmed.
Pfumbidzai made a quick return after an unsuccessful stint at Danish top flight league side Hobro IK were he had signed a one year contract which was terminated mid-stream.
Caps President Farai Jere confirmed the developments to the Herald.
“Pfumbidzai has signed a three-year contract with us and that is the loyalty that we want from players. He did not look elsewhere from the moment he returned home.” Jere said.
Caps United have targeted silverware in the upcoming season and have bolstered their squad with the acquisition of ZPC Kariba defender who was 2014 Soccer star of the year, Dennis Dauda as well as Goalkeeper Edmore Sibanda.
Dauda comes through to the green machine on a 3 year contract while former players Simba Nhivi and Edmore Sibanda have traced back their roots at their firmer club.
The Herald also reports that Caps United have targeted ZPC Kariba utility player Raphael Manuvire and Skillful Triangle player Malvin Gaki as well as Bantu Rovers striker on loan to Bosso Obadiah Tarumbwa.
