The Joshua Nkomo Legacy Shield between Dynamos and Highlanders that had been set for this weekend has been postponed.
Instead the two teams will clash in the ZIFA Unity Cup on Tuesday next week as the country celebrates Unity Day.
The match will take place at Barbourfields Stadium in Bulawayo
ZIFA spokesperson Xolisani Gwesela confirmed the change, “The Joshua Nkomo Legacy Shield which had been billed for this year has been postponed to pave way for the Zifa Unity Cup, and will now be the 2016 season opener,” Gwesela told the Association’s official website.
Winners will walk away with US$20 000 and the loser US$15 000 while the match will be free of charge.
