The Warriors will take on Cameroon in a friendly ahead of the CHAN qualifiers set for Rwanda next year.
Zimbabwe has had a slow start to their preparations and head coach Callisto Pasuwa has already expressed concern over the situation ahead of such a tournament.
However Pasuwa will be more pleased after ZIFA managed to arrange a friendly for the squad to fine tune their preparations.
“We are going to have a friendly match with Cameroon this month said ZIFA CEO Jonathan Mashangaidze.
The Indomitable Lions will be coming here to Harare for the match to play with the Warriors.
We will try and arranged another friendly before the squad departs added Mashingaidze.
Cameroon are in a tricky group B alongside DR Congo, Angola and Ethiopia while the Warriors were drawn in Group D with Mali, Uganda and Zambia.
