Correctional services side Whawha became the 2nd team to be officially relegated from the Premiership yesterday after their hard fought 1-1 draw with Harare City.
The draw put the Gweru side on 22 points and with 6 more points to play for they will not be enough to help them.
Whawha coach Lloyd Mutasa however remained hopeful that the team will rise back from Division 1 and make a quick return to the Premier league.
The next 2 matches will have a bearing on the other 2 relegation candidates with ZPC Kariba, How Mine, Buffaloes, Tsholotsho and Flame Lily battling for survival.
Dongo Sawmills was the first team to he condemned back to Division 1.
