Zimbabwe senior national team manager Shariff Mussa has expressed satisfaction with the draw of CHAN 2016.
The tournament set for Rwanda in January next year will see Zimbabwe play in group D in what has been described by many as a fair group
The group features neighbours Zambia, Uganda and Mali.
Mousa who attended the draw in Rwanda spoke to Caf Online and was happy that Zimbabwe avoided giants Nigeria and Ivory Coast in the first round.
“Our group is not that tough. We avoided big guns like Nigeria and Cote d’Ivoire besides the hosts, Rwanda. In Africa now there are no big or small teams.
“I was with Zimbabwe in the previous two editions and we will go and complete what we started before. I believe CAF helps players to develop with such tournaments. CHAN is a great chance for African talents to show their skills.” He said.
