Ocean Mushure scored in the 49th minute via the penalty spot to book their place in the semi-finals.
“I am relieved to finally get a win and just it’s not just me but the players as well. “We had gone four games without a win and now we finally tasted victory.
“It’s unusual for a team like Dynamos to go on such a run but I am glad we are past it.
“We had to work for the win today and won, it so it’s good for us.
The tournament presents Dynamos and other sides with the last real chance of silverware after losing the Chibuku Super Cup and likely the league title where they trail Chicken Inn by six points with three game left.
Dynamos join Highlanders,CAPS United and Chicken Inn in the semi-finals.
