The ZIFA electoral committee has finished verifying candidates who have filed nominations for ZIFA posts.
ZIFA will hold elections on the 5th December to fill in posts left vacant after the sacking of Cuthbert Dube earlier this year.
A 8 member team led by Retired Justice Sello Nare carried out the verification process which was started late as they awaited Zifa CEO Jonathan Mashingaidze who had attended the burial of Soccer Legend and Administrator Paul Gundani (MHSRIP).
Four candidates, former Soccer Star of the Year James Takavada, former ZIFA chairman and businessman Trevor-Carelse Juul, flamboyant businessman Phillip Chiyangwa and former Dynamos and PSL secretary-general Leslie Gwindi filed their nomination papers for the ZIFA presidency.
The final list of candidates would be made public by the 15th of November.
An appeals committee made up of three members would also be availed to deal with any issues arising such as disqualifications or exclusions.
