Highlanders hard running player Bruce Kangwa says he looks forward to doing well for his club this afternoon against Chapungu after he joined his fellow teammates in camp 24 hours before the game.
Kangwa was with the Warriors in Lesotho together with teammates, Knox Mutizwa and Teenage Hadebe.
“Soon after arriving in Bulawayo yesterday morning, I headed home to take a bath. Thereafter, I joined the other guys for a morning training session before we went to establish camp.
I admit I was tired but we have to still do the job for my club.
I’m looking forward to repay the faith that the coaches have shown in me,” said Kangwa.
Mutizwa said he could not afford to miss this afternoon’s encounter as it also presents him with a chance to take his goal tally to 12 and above.
“I was away and Chirambadare was away to.
I can’t miss the match and I’m looking forward to extending my goal tally,” said Mutizwa who is tied on 11 goals with Chicken Inn forward Edmore Chirambadare.
