Warriors and Dynamos forward, Rodrick Mutuma is confident that Zimbabwe will qualify for the African Nations Championships (Chan) to be held in Rwanda next year.
Mutuma o grabbed a brace in the local based Warriors’ 3 – 1 win over Lesotho in the final qualifier of the Chan tournament.
Despite the two goal cushion Mutuma still believes that the Warriors should guard against complacency as the “Crocodiles” is capable of causing an upset.
“It feels good to have scored and if we put the same performance like we did on Sunday I am confident that we will qualify.
However, we should put our foot down as a team in the reverse fixture because Lesotho can be very tricky,” he said.
Meanwhile the Warriors are set to remain in camp in Bulawayo and depart to Lesotho at the end of the week.
Preparations for the second leg will continue and the squad will not be breaking camp said ZIFA spokesperson Xlosani Gwesela.
