Dynamos are still the highest ranked club from Zimbabwe in the latest African clubs standings released by Football Database.
The organisation releases club rankings yearly and has revealed their latest standings. Points are calculated by an algorithm that looks a team’s performances.
Dynamos dropped out of the top ten in Africa and are now in 14th place.
FC Platinum are in 34th position one a place above Highlanders. CAPS United are ranked 43rd on the continent.
Two DRC sides TP Mazembe and AS Vita are ranked number 1 and 2 respectively. Kaizer Chiefs are the best ranked ABSA Premiership side sitting in 4th place in Africa .
But despite their exploits in the CAF Confederations Cup Orlando Pirates are surprisingly in 24th place.
