Flamboyant businessman Philip Chinyangwa has admitted he will consider running for the ZIFA presidency.
Elections are set to be held after the ZIFA council voted Cuthbert Dube out of office in an extra ordinary meeting on Saturday.
Dube’s removal has seen a number of top figures being linked to the job including Chiyangwa. In a interview with Newsday Chiyangwa ,the owner of a number of businesses said, “You don’t need to plunge into things without calculating.
“At the moment, I’m consulting across the board. Yes, I have been approached by quite a number of people, but I need to consult wide and far.
Chiyangwa could make his decision as soon as this week.
ZIFA CEO Jonathan Mashingaidze has taken over the running of the association until elections are held within 60 days.
