The reign of Cuthbert Dube as ZIFA chairman has come to an end after ZIFA councilors voted for his ouster in an much awaited Meeting today.
This comes hard on the heels of Dube’s resignation from office last night. Dube had indicated he will remain in charge until December were a new Chairman is to be elected.
The latest Development means Dube will leave office with immediate effect and a new Chairman is to be elected.
51 of the 54 councilors voted for the ouster of Dube. Mashingaidze will take over on an interim basis.
