Chicken Inn striker Edmore Chirambadare has set his sights on landing the golden boot award this year.
The striker has proved to be the best buy of the season, coming from Tsholotsho FC to Chicken Inn at the beginning of the season.
Chirambadare is tied on 10 goals with Highlanders striker Knox Mutizwa. His goals has insured that Chicken Inn remain aloft the log standings and have a great chance of lifting the league championship.
“I want to lift the top goal scorer award. I’m looking forward to scoring about six or seven more goals. That’s my target and with God on my side I know I’ll achieve it,” said Chirambadare.
Chirambadare added that he was glad to have finally scored a goal after a long dry spell.
“I’m very excited to have scored a goal in Triangle and I’ve made a target of scoring in each of the remaining games. I’m happy that my form is back and I would like to thank my coach for showing faith in me,” he said.
