Flame Lily coach Backlyfield Chivenga says he was shocked and dismayed by his team loss to Highlanders in Thursday Premier league game played at Babourfields Stadium.

Bosso managed to pounce on the Premier league debutants earning a relief 1-0 win after going 4 matches without a single point. Simon Munawa scored a spectacular overhead kick that earned the win.
Speaking to the Chronicle, Chivenga said he was shocked to have lost and that his team could have easily won the game.
“I’m shocked that we lost to Highlanders. We could have easily beaten them,” said Chivenga in his post match interview.
Chivenga went on to say his side will now focus on the remaining matches as the fighting for survival continues.“The relegation fight is still on,” he added.
His opposite number Highlanders Technical Director, Cosmas Zulu who was in a jovial mood after the victory said the win was a welcome relief as they seek to rebuild.
“It’s a huge relief coming after four losses on the trot,” said Zulu
“We played well with more possession than the opposition. Like I’ve always said, the road to success is under construction. I’m also happy with my goalkeeper (Sibanda); he has conceded just a single goal in two matches, which is not that bad,” he added.
