Caps United are in buoyant mood ahead of the start of the season and are confident  to put on a better show than they did last season, when they finished outside the top four.

This season they kick off their campaign at Gwanzura stadium against newly promoted side ZPC Kariba and they have raised their targets and are now going for the league title and aim to win all titles they compete for.

Head coach Taurai Mangwiro believes they are ready and the new boys will not be easy to face especially in their first match.

“We have prepared a lot for this season and we believe that we are in a good shape to challenge for honours as we have a good team comprising of young talent and experienced guys. “said Bla Tau as the respected coach is known in football circles.

“ZPC Kariba are a good team, I know we might not know a lot about their style of play but we know that their coach has is good, we had a great working relationship here and some of the players were with us last season and the seasons before, ” added the coach in respect of their first match of the season.
