The Zimbabwe national team has slipped down two places in the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola rankings released today.
The Warriors are now on number 102 in the world and 28th in Africa. On the previous rankings last month they were on number 100. Zimbabwe’s only match since then was against Malawi in an international friendly which the Warriors comfortably won 4-1.
However that result seems to have had little effect on their rankings as Malawi is ranked below Zimbabwe on number 114. According to the rankings table in Africa the Ivory Coast is the best team on the continent followed by Algeria, Egypt ,Cape Verde and Ghana. There are no changes in the top five in the world with Spain still top followed by Germany, Argentina, Portugal ,Columbia.
