Zimbabwean international’s Knowledge Musona and Matthew Rusike were on target for Kaizer Chiefs in the CAF Champions League as their side beat Mozambican side Liga Muculmana 4-0.
Musona opened the scoring for the South African giants in the 14th minute and was unfortunate to have a goal disallowed after he was adjudged to have handled.
Siphiwe Tshabalala doubled the lead for Chiefs with a well taken volley before Matthew Rusike came in with a 3rd. Rusike replaced fellow country man Kingston Nkhatha and with 17 minutes to go made his presence felt when his scored into the bottom right corner of the net with a powerful shot.
Mulomowandau Mathoho wrapped up the comfortable win with header minutes before the end.
Willard Katsande also featured for Kaizer Chiefs. The win means Kaizer Chiefs carrying a healthy lead going to the return leg in Mozambique next weekend .
Kaizer Chiefs are on course to meet Dynamos should the Zimbabwean champions manage to come out with a result in Kinshasa having been held by AS Vita at the National Sports Stadium.
