Highlanders chief executive officer Nhlanhla Dube says they successfully held the hearing of their two suspended coaches Amini Soma Phiri and Cosmas Tsano Zulu and the judgement was handed to the two gaffers.
He said the both coaches are expected to respond in mitigation by Friday and sentences will then be passed to them.
“The judgement was crafted in a way that we give it to the coaches first who we expect to respond in mitigation by Friday.
“Thereafter a sentence will be passed.”It’s a length proceeding we saw it fit to let the coaches respond in mitigation. We cannot speak about the judgement,” said Dube.
The two coaches were suspended in June after they insulted each other in front of players on their way back from the FC Platinum match in Zvishavane.
The two allegedly also had a go at each other while on the bench in the 3-0 loss to Black Rhinos at Morris Depot in Harare.
Meanwhile, on Sunday Highlanders are set to hold mid term Annual General Meeting at their clubhouse.
“The meeting will start at 9am and it meant to resolve issues that will be debated. Its a typical business meeting where the acting chairman (Modern Ngwenya) will be expected to give an update on the status quo. This will also include issues to do with club licensing,” said Dube.
Bosso’s ordinary and life members are set to attend the meeting. The club boasts of over 3 800 ordinary members and just over 1 000 life members.
