Zimbabwean international Nyasha Mushekwi was on target on the final day of the Chinese League One.
Mushekwi scored a 60th minute consolation goal as Dalian Yifang were handed a 3-1 defeat by Qingdao Huanghai.
Dalian Yifang miss it out on promotion to the Chinese Super League but Mushekwi’s impressive performances during his debut season are likely to attract interest from a number of top flight clubs.
Mushekwi finishes the season as the second best on the goal scoring charts with 19 goals to his name just two less than Brazilian Luis Fabiano who also scored on the final day of the season to finish on top.
With the African Cup of Nations a few months away Mushekwi goal scoring form is likely to be good news for Callisto Pasuwa after the Warriors were drawn in a challenging group that has Algeria,Tunisia and Senegal.
It remains to be seen whether Mushekwi remains in China after recently admitting he would be keen to return to Swedish side Djurgarden.
