Chicken Inn have named their final 18 man squad that will face Mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Champions League this weekend.
The Gamecocks carry a 1-0 lead from the first leg and are confident that they can finish the job well in Pretoria.
Clemence Matawu is the notable returnee to the squad that features most of the players from the first leg. Matawu replaces Canaan Nkomo.
Squad:
Goalkeepers : Elvis Chipezeze, Pride Zendera
Defenders: Passmore Bernard, Lawrence Mhlanga, Devine Lunga, Moses Jackson, Ben Nyahunzvi
Midfielders: Danny Phiri, Tafadzwa Kutinyu, Clemence Matawu, Thabani Goredema, Brian Juru, Physwell Madhazi, George Majika, Edmore Chirambadare
Strikers: Obadiah Tarumbwa, Michelle Katsvairo, Moses Demera
The squad will depart from Bulawayo tomorrow. “The team is leaving tomorrow. We are expecting them to be in South Africa at around 3pm and is when our training programme that we have since communicated with Sundowns will be implemented,” said Chicken Inn spokesperson Tawengwa Hara.
Meanwhile the club has arranged four buses to carry fans to the game on Friday.
