Dynamos teenage striker Mussa Madhiri inspired Dembare to a two nil win over Zambian side Kabwe Warriors at Rufaro Stadium this afternoon.
The 17 year old Madhiri who has been tipped to be a revelation by new Dynamos head coach Paulo Jorge Silva was heavily involved in the first goal as Kabwe Warriors scored an own goal to put Dynamos in the lead in the 49th minute.
Madhiri then scored from the penalty spot with a few minutes to the final whistle after a Kabwe Warriors defender had handled in the box.
The match afforded Silva with the opportunity to get a good view of his squad in their first real competitive match since he took over.
The match saw both Roderick Mutuma and Takesure Chinyama missing presumably due to their three match ban.
Kabwe Warriors will take on CAPS United on Tuesday at the National Sports Stadium as part of their country tour.
