Zimbabwe’s CAF Champions League representatives Chicken Inn are closing in on Highlanders striker Obadiah Tarumbwa and Dynamos defender Ocean Mushure.
Both players were key for their clubs with Tarumbwa forming a good combination with Knox Mutizwa in Highlanders colours while Mushure impressed for Dynamos despite them being unable to retain their league title.
Muhsure was named as the runners up to eventual Soccer Star of the Year Danny Phiri.
A source close to negotiations told Soccer24, “The club is closing in on both Oba and Mushure, they could be Chicken Inn players by the end of this week. Obviously with the Champions League coming the squad needs to strengthen said the source.
Tarumbwa is on loan from Bantu Rovers but Highlanders have already lost Nqozibtha Masuku to FC Platinum.
However Dynamos will not let Mushure go without a fight and are keen to retain the player although they seem to have resigned to losing Ronald Chitiyo after failing to meet his financial terms for a new deal. Chitiyo is expected to tie up a deal with Harare City by the new year.
